Netflix has finally put a full trailer out for Mating Season, the new adult animated comedy from the Big Mouth team, and it is exactly as messy as that sentence makes it sound. The show shifts the chaos of sex, relationships and bad decisions into the animal kingdom, with Zach Woods, Nick Kroll, June Diane Raphael and Sabrina Jalees leading the cast.
The trailer is all in on that idea, leaning into the awkwardness rather than trying to dress it up as something sweeter. Anyone hoping for Big Mouth’s energy in a different skin is probably going to get it here.
