Peacock’s full trailer for M.I.A. throws Shannon Gisela’s Etta Tiger Jonze straight into a revenge story built around family tragedy, a new identity and a lot of blood in the water. The setup is pure crime-pulp, but the Miami and Key Largo backdrops give it a nice neon bite.
The footage makes it clear this is not aiming for subtle, with knives, gunfire and chase scenes all over the place as Etta hunts the men she blames. Peacock looks to be selling this one as a full-on binge rather than a slow burn.
M.I.A. premieres on Peacock on May 7, 2026.
