Amazon MGM Studios has released the first teaser for Verity, its adaptation of Colleen Hoover’s psychological thriller. Dakota Johnson plays Lowen Ashleigh, a struggling writer hired to complete the books of Verity Crawford, played by Anne Hathaway.
The trailer keeps things tight around the Crawford estate, with Josh Hartnett in the middle as Jeremy and Lowen pulled between a career-saving job, a hidden manuscript and a story that refuses to stay on the page.
Verity lands in cinemas on October 2, 2026.
