HBO Max has dropped the first proper look at Half Man, the new limited series from Richard Gadd, and it is not easing anyone in gently. The trailer sets up Niall and Ruben’s reunion at a wedding before kicking off the violence and the 30-year story that sits behind it.
Jamie Bell and Gadd are front and centre here, with the footage leaning hard into the show’s mix of brotherhood, damage and menace rather than trying to soften any of it. It looks like another dark swing from Gadd, only on a much bigger scale.
Half Man premieres on HBO Max on April 23, 2026.
