Apple TV has put out the first teaser for Cape Fear, its new series reworking the story of Anna and Tom Bowden as Max Cady comes back into their lives looking for revenge. Amy Adams, Javier Bardem and Patrick Wilson lead the cast, and the trailer wastes no time turning the family home into a place of dread.
It is a short teaser, but it lands the basic setup cleanly and puts Bardem's Max front and centre as the threat closing in on the Bowdens.
Cape Fear premieres on Apple TV on June 5, 2026.
