Developer Hypnohead and publisher tinyBuild have revealed Crowns of History, the first DLC for The King is Watching, during The MIX Spring Showcase. The expansion introduces three historical leaders, each offering new strategies and abilities that reshape how players defend and expand their kingdom.
Cleopatra, the Empress of Death, can raise fallen units to fight again, while Emperor Taizong of Tang focuses on empowering offensive structures and deploying crossbowmen to hold the line. Xerxes, the Glass Cannon King, trades durability for overwhelming damage, encouraging high-risk tactics that can quickly turn the tide of battle.
The King is Watching: Crowns of History is launching on March 16 for PC.
