Revealed during The MIX + Kinda Funny Spring Game Showcase, Demon Lord: Just A Block is a grid-based action roguelite from developer YuWave and publisher Skystone Games. Players take control of the severed head of a fallen demon lord, battling through enemies and bosses in a world that advances only when the player moves.
Combat allows for both careful planning and fast reactions, with players choosing from 14 weapons, 10 build archetypes and more than 200 abilities to customise their approach. Procedurally generated levels and puzzle-like boss encounters aim to keep each run different as players work to reclaim the demon lord’s throne.
Demon Lord: Just A Block is launching on April 29 for PC.
