Lee Cronin’s The Mummy – Official Trailer

Lee Cronin’s The Mummy is going nowhere near old adventure territory. The first trailer plays this as straight horror, centring on a girl found alive inside a 3,000-year-old sarcophagus years after she vanished, and the deeply wrong sense that comes home with her.

Jack Reynor and Laia Costa are front and centre as Katie’s parents, while the footage leans into possession, dread and the kind of body horror you would expect from the director of Evil Dead Rise. Warner Bros., Blumhouse and Atomic Monster seem to be selling a much meaner take on the material from the jump.

Lee Cronin’s The Mummy lands in cinemas on April 17, 2026.
