The first-look trailer for The Super Mario Galaxy Movie introduces Yoshi ahead of the sequel’s shift to a more cosmic adventure inspired by the Galaxy games. Returning voices include Chris Pratt, Jack Black, Anya Taylor-Joy, Charlie Day, and Keegan-Michael Key, with new additions Brie Larson as Rosalina and Bennie Safdie as Bowser Jr. The sequel is once again produced by Illumination’s Chris Meledandri alongside Nintendo’s Shigeru Miyamoto, and directed by Aaron Horvath and Michael Jelenic.
The Super Mario Galaxy Movie is set to launch in April 2026 in theatres.
