Developed by 17-BIT, Awaysis is a physics-fuelled arcade dungeon brawler focused on speed, momentum, and chaotic co-op play. The Steam Next Fest demo lets players tackle the game solo or with up to four players via local co-op across its opening three levels, assembling a mismatched crew on a mission to stop the Dark Lord of Darkness and reverse a planet-wide drought.
Combat leans heavily on movement, encouraging players to dash, surf, and build momentum across sloped environments before crashing into enemies and bosses. Between runs, gear can be upgraded, while optional “Co-opetition” mini-games pit teammates against each other for loot. Remote Play Together support is also included in the demo, making it easy to jump in with friends.
