The House of Hikmah was revealed during the PC Gaming Show: Most Wanted, introducing a narrative adventure about grief, legacy and the search for meaning. You play as Maya, a fourteen-year-old visiting the House of Wisdom after losing her father, meeting figures from the Islamic Golden Age and uncovering his past through quiet exploration and puzzle-solving.
The game features a matter-shaping heirloom that lets you alter the environment to progress. Expect traversal puzzles built around wind currents, shifting platforms and ancient machinery across nine themed areas. Maya will also face dreamlike encounters tied to her emotional state as she works through her loss.
The House of Hikmah is launching on PC (via Steam) in 2026.
