Valorborn, the upcoming sandbox RPG from Laps Games, has arrived on Steam Next Fest with a playable demo showcasing its blend of systemic fantasy adventuring and tough party-based survival.
Set in a fully explorable medieval world, Valorborn lets players decide their own approach to life; whether it’s slaying beasts, stealing from townsfolk, or exploring every building they come across. Choices matter here, as the game’s permadeath system ensures that one wrong move could end your journey for good.
The demo also introduces character creation, allowing players to build a party from several classes and customise each member’s background, appearance, and personality traits that shape how they interact with the world.
You can try the Valorborn demo now as part of Steam Next Fest. The full game will launch into Steam Early Access for PC in 2026.
