Solo developer Adam Buczek and publisher indie.io have announced I Mother, a prehistoric action-adventure that unfolds without spoken or written language.
Players step into the role of a Neanderthal woman, far from her tribe and struggling to survive in a world of predators, harsh environments, and symbolic communication. Inspired by the work of paleoanthropologist Genevieve von Petzinger, the game uses ancient symbols as its core navigation system, gradually building meaning as the journey progresses.
I Mother launches on October 22 for PC (via Steam).
