Ninja Gaiden 4 made an appearance during Xbox’s TGS stream with a look at two of its key features: a training mode and the brutal Master Ninja difficulty.
The training mode gives players space to sharpen their skills, test out weapons, and practise combos without pressure. Once Story Mode has been cleared, the real trial begins in Master Ninja, which throws late-game enemies into earlier chapters, ramps up enemy AI, and increases numbers on screen at once.
For those still not satisfied, Death Wish mode goes even further by resetting growth elements and letting difficulty climb to an even harsher extreme.
Ninja Gaiden 4 launches on October 21 for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
