Netflix has confirmed that Blue Eye Samurai will return for a second season, with a new announcement trailer revealing that production is now underway. The acclaimed animated series follows Mizu’s journey of vengeance in Edo-period Japan, and season two will continue that bloody path.
Created by Amber Noizumi and Michael Green, the show features a strong voice cast including Maya Erskine, George Takei, Masi Oka, Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa, Brenda Song, Darren Barnet, Randall Park, and Kenneth Branagh, alongside supporting roles from Stephanie Hsu, Ming-Na Wen, Harry Shum Jr., and Mark Dacascos.
Blue Eye Samurai: Season 2 is currently in production and will stream exclusively on Netflix.
