The Touhou universe is heading into tactical RPG territory with Fantasy Maiden Wars – Dream of the Stray Dreamer. Developed by Sanbondo and published by Phoenixx Inc., the game blends bullet hell mechanics with turn-based strategy as players take command of Reimu, Marisa, and a roster of more than 70 Touhou heroines.
Set in Gensokyo, a realm shaken by strange events, you’ll choose a protagonist and fight through stages packed with enemy attacks, managing movement, spell cards, and positioning to survive. Alongside the story campaign, the game features a lore glossary and an extensive soundtrack covering two decades of Touhou music.
Fantasy Maiden Wars – Dream of the Stray Dreamer launches on PC (via Steam) on October 20.
