Relic Entertainment has officially unveiled Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War IV during Gamescom Opening Night Live 2025. Set on the war-torn planet Kronus, the RTS sequel promises the largest campaign in the series to date, with four playable factions — including the Adeptus Mechanicus, making their Dawn of War debut.
Players can expect over 70 campaign missions playable solo or in co-op, alongside returning modes like Last Stand, Skirmish and competitive multiplayer. The game also marks a return to the series’ roots with expanded large-scale battles and a more brutal take on the classic Sync Kill system.
Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War IV is set to release on PC (via Steam) in 2026.
