Indie developer InSpades Studios has revealed its debut project, Everlast: Undying Tale, an open-world RPG inspired by classics like Old School RuneScape and Guild Wars.
Players will explore the Kingdom of South Umbardom, mastering a variety of skills including fishing, blacksmithing, and tailoring. The game features real-time combat, minimalist base-building, and a curse system that grows in power — and danger — as you progress. Higher curse levels unlock stronger abilities, but come with their own drawbacks.
Alongside solo play, Everlast: Undying Tale will support co-op and public servers, offering a mix of crafting, questing, and combat in a vibrant, lore-rich world. An alpha playtest is planned for the near future, with sign-ups available via the game’s Steam page.
Everlast: Undying Tale is currently in development for PC. A release date has not yet been announced.
