Running With Scissors, Team Beef, and publisher Impact Inked have launched the Kickstarter campaign for Postal 2 Redux — a complete overhaul of the 2003 open-world FPS infamous for its chaotic violence and pitch-black humour.
Rebuilt in Unity, this version promises a fully seamless Paradise with no loading screens, improved lighting and textures, updated combat based on community feedback, and more reactive NPC behaviour. It’s designed to run smoothly on modern systems while keeping everything that made the original both notorious and cult-beloved.
The campaign runs until September 12 and offers funding tiers with stretch goals that could expand platform availability.
POSTAL 2 Redux is planned for release on PC, macOS, and Linux (via Steam), plus PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4, with potential Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch versions depending on campaign success.
