Techland has dropped a new red-band trailer for Dying Light: The Beast, and it’s not for the faint of heart. Aptly titled Blood & Guts, the video is a relentless barrage of bone-snapping finishers, dismemberments and gory detail.
The studio has gone all-in on making combat more visceral this time around. Thanks to a completely reworked body damage system, players will be able to target specific limbs, inflict realistic injuries across dozens of “Gore-Nodes,” and watch as enemies break apart with unnerving precision. That’s alongside nearly three times the number of brutal finishers and a whole new approach to blood effects — including practical blood testing with real actors.
Dying Light: The Beast launches September 19 on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
