A meteor shower has forced civilisation underground, and a young cat named Shell is left separated from her mother. That’s the starting point for Everdeep Aurora, a 2D adventure from Nautilus Games.
Players will drill through rock to forge paths into the Everdeep, uncovering new locations, meeting quirky residents, and gathering tools to aid their journey. The game leans into its NES-inspired style, with a limited colour palette, retro audio and cutscenes that help bring its underground world to life.
Everdeep Aurora is available now on PC (via Steam) and Nintendo Switch.
