  1. Iron Fist is bad, really bad.

But this episode was good! YAY!

Good episode, ladies (and honourary lady for the day).

As for things i used to collect. Came home from school one day to find mum had given “some” of my toys to my cousin…

Missing were all my (UK) action man stuff l, no great loss, but all my Star wars stuff as well.

That’s AT-AT, AT-ST, Jabba’s Palace, Wampa, snow speeder, star destroyer, various ewok bits, and Rebel gun pieces, jet bikes, an xwing oh and about a hundred or so figured.

I definitely don’t remind her every now and again how much that lot would’ve been worth…

I’m not sure I’d say really bad. I watched it all, which is more than I can say for Powers (absolutely not interested after 1 episode). But it was a mess. Just all over the show. And poorly lit. And with a boring and inconsistent hero. And unfocused. And had a really interesting plot line about abusing mental health care for evil ends that went nowhere. Yeah, it wasn’t good was it?

Oh man, that collection sounds awesome!

Yeah, exactly all of that. It just seems like writers had a million ideas but not how to get anywhere with them. Also this is the first Marvel series where literally not a single character was interesting to me and made me care for them. (Except for Claire, but I don’t think she really counts. She had three other shows for building up her awesomeness).

Apart from Daredevil, I am largely unfamiliar with the Marvel TV Universe (MTU) as it exists on Netflix. The only one I’ve read about was Iron Fist and that was a subplot in the Civil War story arc. I’ve stalled out on Jessica Jones and it has been so long I may just start over from Episode 1. Which brings to mind the question – what movie/TV series/book have you restarted where the restart had changed your opinion from the first time you experienced it?

    Can’t recommend Jessica Jones enough!

Also awesome question, just so you know it is on the episode 84 agenda happy
