BRB UK 231: Legion of Dads

Hey boys & girls, it’s that time of the week where another episode of the big Red Barrel UK Podcast randomly appears.

Dan‘s currently on leave for a couple of weeks but we’ve still got Coleman & Tim in charge of things – meaning this will be another long show folks. But we still need a third this week which is why we’ve only gone and nabbed the Barrelcast‘s own “Podcast Legend,” PacManPolarBear to fill in on this week’s show.

Topics this week include:

  • PewDiePie dropped by Maker & YouTube.
  • Activision studios hit by layoffs
  • Steam to replace their Greenlight program.
  • PMPB dives into the emulation scene hard.
  • Coleman gets into Dad Quest.
  • Tim picks up For Honor.

We appreciate you chaps taking time out of your week to listen to our show.  For your convenience, you can simply download the MP3 by clicking HERE or you can subscribe via iTunes, RSS or Stitcher and stay up to date.

Great show guys. Pmpb was great and even though 50% seemed to be on pewdiepie (which is kind of relevant. Kind of) it was still funny and as awesome as always. Seriously though. How many games does Pmpb have?

And I though MY game library was too big!

Nice. PMPB on the podcast can only be a good thing. Great segment on emulators and how deep he got into it. Dad Quest sounds good – I may just have to pick that one up. Same thing with For Honor. So many games…

Review: Mystic Vale

Mystic Vale provides an innovative twist on the deck-building genre with a card-sleeving method, but a lack of player interaction hampers it.
