Geek Speak 15: Swiggity Swooty

Hi there! We are a little bit late but BRB Geek Speak is back for another week of nerding out about… stuff! And guess who’s back? That’s right, Mon is back! However, we have managed to loose Lauren and Alex had to step up to be a first chair. She now appreciates greatly all the hard work Lauren does as a host. Finally, Julia has returned for another episode! This weeks they geek out about:

  • Mon went to Twon Pocks, also know as Twin Peaks-themed pop up restaurant
  • Guess what Alex talked about? You got it, Dragon Age: Inquisition and its last DLC Trespasser! Also elves!
  • Julia read-ish The Palace Job by Patrick Weekes, so we talked virgins and unicorns
  • Alex went to Insomnia 55:
    • Homefront: The Revolution
    • Xbox One’s Elite Controller
  • Destiny
  • We talked more about cosplay (Thanks to Bleezeyboy for the question!)
  • Shoutouts to the lovely listeners – HI!
We appreciate you chaps taking time out of your week to listen to our show.  For your convenience, you can simply download the MP3 by clicking HERE or you can subscribe via iTunes or RSS and stay up to date.

  1. Julia

Nothing wrong with inverted, it’s just confuzzling as hell! :p Then again, personally I feel like when I start a game on default controls (that isn’t an FPS) I get used to whatever they throw at me. Not that it happens often nowadays.

Thank you, you’ve got a good ear! <3

  2. Honored to be one of your favorite hosts ladies. Also, real gamers do it inverted. My early years of flight sims taught me that up is down and down is up.
