BRB UK 141: Going Over to the Green Side

Welcome there one and all to Big Red Barrel’s UK Podcast, which is back after a much unplanned (but some may say deserved) week away. Move over Star Wars and all your shiny lightsaber goodness (we’re still totally excited for that by the way),  as Tim & Coleman are stepping away from the dark side in favor of the green side. No they’re not going environmental but instead talking to Kate Gray from Xbox On and the Toku Podcast.

Listen in as they discuss:

  • The vanishing of P.T.
  • Yooka-Laylee‘s reveal
  • New Assassin’s Creed details being teased
  • Batman Arkham Knight‘s season pass antics
  • Nintendo is doing better than previous years and is getting into theme parks?
  • Mario Kart 8‘s latest DLC
  • Shovel Knight

We appreciate you chaps taking time out of your week to listen to our show.  For your convenience, you can simply download the MP3 by clicking HERE or you can subscribe via iTunes, RSS or Zune and stay up to date.

Excellent show chaps! Tim thanks for still podcasting despite having throat issues, make sure to rest your voice till it recovers. Coleman, your amibo habit continues to be an amusing topic of conversation, infact I am considering getting a Samus or pikachu one when I have a bit more spare cash. Kate Grey you were an excellent guest, the best one since Dan’s destiny leave imo. I have now downloaded all of the current episodes of the Toku Podcast and look forward to listening to them 🙂

But if Tim’s voice doesn’t recover, does than mean that I’ve successfully gone from the official barrelUK stalker, to guest, to co-host, to taking out the original cast and reigning supreme? THERE CAN ONLY BE ONE!

Ta muchly thumb. Those are actually two I’ve not gone for yet as they seemed to be safely in stock and staying around the £9-£15 mark.

Wasn’t she just great? Glad to see I’m not the only one on a Toku binge bigsmile

Good episode – I was particularly interested in the CAH segment. Though I rarely play it, I could see how some cards/combinations could become offensive.

On a somewhat related note, I saw Avalon being played (on another website) and it looked like good fun. Probably old hat to you tabletoppers, but thought I’d mention it.

Thanks for the podcast, human adults! It was a good one. Have to be honest, have a strong dislike for CAH and a lot of people who play it for reasons stated mainly in the podcast. If ‘lol, swear words’ can keep you entertained ffor any great length of time we’re probably not going to get along great. At least it states right on the box that it’s for horrible people!

Yay, finally caught up. Great shows chaps! I have loved all the guests you have had but I am missing the Destiny playing one. Is it too soon to have a #BringBackDan?
