We have Dan back! But no Tim….basically. Had to put that in as I basically missed it. Basically. Awesome cast as always and you managed to get everything in with no interruption’s. The only thing I have to say is that myself and a friend are uber excited for the news of elder scrolls online. He will be getting a onebox for it, specifically so we can enter the fantastical realm of fantasy and magic type things as we are both nerds for the series (since morrowind, never finished it as got lost. Alot. But still enjoyed the open world aesthetic) and have played the recent two to death and was still skyriming it until my new xbone turned up. That is all really. No subscription is fantastic news for it. Hopefully this delay has ironed out most, if not all of the bugs as well.

    Basically yes.

You mean the giant spiders that lurk around dungeons, those kind of bugs?

  4. Ridcullys Hat

Well….maybe? Honestly I hope its got rid of all the launch issues and glitches that made people go insane when it was released on the PC originally. Basically. I’m not really that experienced in MMORPG but have dabbled, slightly, with WoW in the past. Just couldn’t get on with the mouse and keyboard. We’ll see in a few months how I get on with elder scrolls. It’ll be interesting as much as anything. Basically….

Basically agree. Always been more of a fan of consoles for the lack of fiddling required: insert disk, press play, game plays. Simples, as the meerkat might say. And a ridiculously massive fan of TES (>2000 hours oblivion, ~800 morrowind,~500 skyrim, also Daedric tattoo) so glad that this wait is coming to an end! But what would elder scrolls be without the bugs though?
Also HI! It’s been a while; feels good to have you chaps nestled in my ear places again. Life has assumed some sort of new normality so hopefully will be listening again with more regularity. Might even get to attend another tabletop Tuesday as I’m now living a bit further south! So yeah. Cheers for the episode!

Is it just me or is the console market starting to get flooded with MMOs, it started with Realm Reborn, then Destiny hit and well its okay at best, soon we will be getting The Division. Now TES as well as recently announced Dragons Dogma. Not that I dislike them but consoles aren’t PC’s and I really hope a trend does not start where all games are huge online games especially when we have seen the vulnerability of all the servers.

    Am I the only one?

I wouldn’t say “flooded”, there’s certainly more now that the current consoles are essentially mini PCs.

Long time listener first time commentor in ages, anyone having trouble with the web site? I will be listening to the episode tonight should be a good one I’m interested in pretty much all the agenda items listed.

  11. Ridcullys Hat

Need to get it first, although it has interested me being a big DC fan I have never taken the proverbial plunge.

  12. Zombellic

I’m a little confused by the wording of the Windows 10 for free announcement, does free for a year mean we can upgrade but the OS will expire on the 1st anniversary of 10’s release? Leaving you needing to pay to continue with it.

For some reason I can’t reply to the forum thread, but I can here…

Ryse is 50% off this weekend on Steam. Is it a buy?
