Big Red Barrelcast 63: Moths, Skype and Cupcakes

The Big Red Barrelcast returns to tickle your ear drums with their ramblings! On this week’s episode, Pacman, Kev and Dave blabber on about Marvel Heroes 2015, Moths and Twitch.

This time, they pontificate about:

  • Kev’s letter to Naughty Dog
  • Marvel Heroes 2015
  • Evolve is delayed til February 2015
  • Bioshock is coming to IOS
  • Resident Evil
  • Twitch pissed off their entire user base
  • Shout outs
  • Bonus content for our lovely app owners

We’d love to give you all some sort of incredible hug immediately followed by a polite conversation about how cool you are, but frankly we can’t afford the travel expenses. So, while we save our pennies, cents, and whatever the heck Canadians use, we’ll offer you some download links to help bide the time. 1. As I was walking to work this morning, listening to this episode, I was mentally listing rebukes and counter-arguments to Kev’s letter. Of course, once the episode was over and I reached my desk at work, all of my points were forgotten. So to Kev, all I will say now is just be wrong. Just stand there in your wrongness and be wrong and get used to it.

    Anyway, good show guys.

Resident Evil, the one in question being HDified is called, funnily enough, Resident Evil. Resident Evil 0 from Gamecube was a great game though. It was one-player co-op where you controlled a man and a woman one at a time. It was also filled with nasty SLUGS. AND it is playable with Move on PS3 in one of the Resident Evil collections.
ALSO the re-up of the original game does come with control options not just the old tank stuff.

Great show guys. BTW, I always wanna shout an echoing “OHIO!!!” at the end of the theme song because it reminds me of the Drew Carey Show…LOL

  3. Rommie

    Nice show guys.
I watch a lot of Twitch, and yeah that really pissed off a lot of people, though the streamers I follow are so far dead set on staying with Twitch.

  4. After hearing PMPB rave about his love of Marvel Heroes 2015, and Dave pointing out it is on Mac, I have gone to download it.  Unfortunately it has 60 patches to install first and it’s been about 18 hours in, and 20 patches until it is finished.  I curse thy names to the heavens.  Is there a clan/guild for BRB set up yet?

  5. stingo

I tried Marvel Heroes a few weeks ago and really liked it and was wondering what PMPB was going on about in his rant. Glad to hear the boomerang is back on this one. I’d be interested in getting into a supergroup or whatever they call guilds there. I am hoping to unlock Dr. Strange as he is my favorite superhero from way back.

  6. I’ll put out the call to interested parties on the BRBCast tonight (episode 65). If more than 5 people are down to join a Marvel Heroes SuperGroup I’d love to put one together. Comment here with your details or send me a tweet or email me at with your ID. I think we can get at least 10 people or more.

  7. Rather than just name the SuperGroup BigRedBarrel I named it The Sinister Syndicate. I named it that because it is Marvel related but off the beaten path enough that it was not already taken. I went with a different name because not everyone who asked to join is a member of the BRB community.

Hit me up with your ID and I will add you to my friends list (which I can do even if you are offline) and will get invites to the SuperGroup (you need to be online) out asap.
