Fold Your Own Origami Journey Traveller

Matt Nava, formerly art director for PS3’s Journey, posted some fun instructions to make an origami version of the robed wanderer from the 2012 game. Using his own illustrations, the guide is easy enough to follow without any previous origami experience (though some steps might require a bit of thought).

You can see below my attempt at a particularly floral traveller, and you too can pretend to glide along the ridges of your cushions without a care in the world. I’d recommend using a sheet 300mm x 300mm or larger for a good size figure and easier folding.
