Big Red Barrelcast 45: Pay To Pay To Play

The Big Red Barrelcast returns to tickle your ear drums with their ramblings! On this week’s episode, Dave and Kev blabber on about Titanfall, investing and Call of Duty. Don’t forget to visit our sponsor Insert Coin Clothing and cover up your nakedness by using discount code BIGREDSAVINGS15 for 15% off your order!

This time, they pontificate about:

  • The Titanfall Beta
  • “Soulslike”
  • Kickstarter got hacked
  • Molyneux opened his mouth again
  • A new DBZ game
  • South Park Stick Of Truth still looks awesome
  • No Borderlands 3 coming anytime soon
  • Shout outs

We’d love to give you all some sort of incredible hug immediately followed by a polite conversation about how cool you are, but frankly we can’t afford the travel expenses. So, while we save our pennies, cents, and whatever the heck Canadians use, we’ll offer you some download links to help bide the time. awesome show again xxx

  2. Good show guys.

Quick question: Is Deep Down basically going to be a free-to-play, procedurally-generated version of Dark Souls?

  3. Aurochs

Cheers for the show guys, so much titanfall chat. Didn’t realise it was in the source engine; is it altered beyond all recognition? Because have to be honest I really dislike the motion in source engine powered games, to me it feels really disconnected and has seriously damped my views on games like Half Life and portal which everyone else seem to find flawless. Now obviously these are good games, the stories are great, and atmospheric and all that but I’ll never go back to play them purely because of the weird movement.
Other Molyneux chat; what do you think of his damning of Fable 3? Maybe he’s not 100% crazy after all?

  4. *sigh*… Guys, I miss Frawlz so much… any plans to bring him back? thumb
