  1. That was pretty fun!  And how did you land a host with such a SEXY voice???

Although I prefer fast zombies because the threat they pose is more immediate, i feel that slow zombies have a poetic quality that is often overlooked. Excuse the stupid example (because I really can’t think of a better one), but it’s like when Pepe Le Pew is chasing Penelope; no matter how fast she runs, even though he only pursues her at a very mild pace, he’ll always catch up to her in the end. When watching the older movies, it slowly dawns on the viewer that even though the hordes are slow and stupid, they are increasing exponentially, and eventually there will be no avoiding them. The snail paced yet inevitable apocalypse; delightfully creepy 🙂

BTW I can’t stand the writing of Walking Dead. The dialogue is so forced and irrelevant, and the only peril that these idiotic, juvenile characters face is that which they create for themselves. I get that they’re trying to show some kind of deeper human element, but what they’ve ended up giving us is a bunch of children wandering into places they shouldn’t, ignoring each other’s advice, blatantly refusing to properly prepare, accidentally shooting each other and wasting round after invaluable round of ammo on target practice.

That said, I will be watching next season…and shouting at the screen through the whole thing :/ I’m a sucker for zombies

I can see someone thinking that, because it does happen from time to time, but I think overall the writing and pacing is fantastic.  Every once in a while, someone will do something idiotic that seems to be solely to move the plot forward (this generally involves Carl or Lori… both of which I can’t stand, because they’re generally only used for this purpose), but for the most part, I think it’s pretty good.  The problem is people tend to grasp onto the bad parts of something and it begins to take over everything.  I know a few people who think the same thing of the show.

  4. Thanks for doing this! I had a blast on the show with Ala Douche.

  8. Redbeard

Thanks for including the “Ding” song at the end and linking it.  I ended up purchasing his entire album.

I also really enjoy the Deadlocked book series, I ended up purchasing the set after listening.  Thanks!!!
