Excellent show this week. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

I actually have the headset. To be honest I am not an audiophile and this is actually my gaming headset. I will say the battery life seems to match my vita. 3 to 4 hours at full charge also depends on what you are using.

Bassimpact is basically rumble for the ears (more of the prototype than the actual controller) Games tend to be design around the rumble in controllers to give players feedback while the headset takes bass and imitates it. Alot of time this is awesome when shooting a gun or having an explosion but it can also be annoying when there is background noise that is constantly setting it off- rare but some games have it. Also you will have to adjust depending on scenarios.

The sound quality sounds great to me, and there are several pre-select settings such as movies, games, that you can adjust on the fly. Like I said this is my first pair of nice headphones so this may be a user issue, but I have come across rare but a few incidents where it seems like the volume is not optimized between my headphones (if i left both dial at max and game volume at max) where the volume seemed lower. Easy fix re-sync.

Also they feel comfortable to me.

Surround sound and Bassimpact can be used for all devices such as vita, iphone, 3ds but may need the aux cable to be plugged in to both headset and portable device. Some music sounds awesome with bass impact for example (Nero doomsday)

The wireless function requires a usb dongle that plug into your ps3, few tvs, and your computer NOTE: you need the usb plugged to use the microphone. in other words, microphone wont work with portable devices that require cable.

I hope this was helpful, and if you have anymore questions just ask. I will say I love the headset and I use them all the time not just for gaming.
