Big Red Barrelcast 91: E3 2015

The Big Red Barrelcast returns to tickle your eardrums with their ramblings! On this week’s episode, Kev, Pacman and Dave get high on all things E3. It’s been an exciting few days of press conferences, and it’s time to gush.

We’d love to give you all some sort of incredible hug immediately followed by a polite conversation about how cool you are, but frankly we can’t afford the travel expenses. So, while we save our pennies, cents, and whatever the heck Canadians use, we’ll offer you some download links to help bide the time. I’m kind of surprised neither Kev or Pacman play plants versus zombies garden warfare considering it was given away free last year on the PS4.

I was actually surprised how good it was and it is a very very solid shooter with fun mechanics and a surprisingly large amount of depth.

Hang on, am I a character in Destiny now?
Cheers for the episode folks, good breakdown of all the happenings. This did feel like a really good year for games!

  3. I’ve heard nothing but good things about Garden Warfare, to be fair to it. That demo just didn’t interest me at all though.

The one they gave away for the playstation anniversary wasn’t a demo it was the full game…

Splatoon falls into that category (in my mind) – the shooter that doesn’t conform to standard shooter aesthetics.

  6.   Seems that the were no real “losers” this year.  That’s a nice change.
