The Big Red Barrelcast returns to tickle your ear drums with their ramblings! On this week’s episode, Dave, Pacman and Kev discuss manhood eating fish, fancy cars, and what the WiiU needs (but won’t get) to make a come back. Don’t forget to visit our sponsor Insert Coin Clothing and cover up your nakedness by using discount code BIGREDSAVINGS15 for 15% off your order!

This time, they ramble on about:

  • Simba

  • XBL freebies and PS+
  • E sports goes ham
  • Microsoft flips more switches
  • The Super Dangerous Wad Wad Edition of Saints Row 4
  • The future of the WiiU

  • Some lovely bonus content for BRB podcast app owners.

We’d love to give you all some sort of incredible hug immediately followed by a polite conversation about how cool you are, but frankly we can’t afford the travel expenses. So, while we save our pennies, cents, and whatever the heck Canadians use, we’ll offer you some download links to help bide the time. Great show guys.

Talking about God-Awful-phone-based gaming, I had a Nokia N-Gage. Awful phone, awful games machine.

That Saint’s Row 4 Super Dangerous Wad Wad Edition was named after me, of course. Also the Dildo Gun could be called the ‘Snot Gun’, just saying….

I am regular, at least once a day…winky

That’s it Dave, rip on World War Z. I honestly lasted 5 minutes of watching this filth before I literally threw up my hands and left. (NO JOKE!) (OK, it was a joke, It was 6 minutesthumb)

  2. Aurochs

    Holy mega-bonus-content, Batman! Cheers guys!

Now, at the risk of serious ostracism apparently, I actually thoroughly enjoyed Crackdown (and even Crackdown 2 to a far lesser extent). It could definitely have used more than 2 player co-op, but just dicking about in a massive city a la GTA, but with super-powers? Yeah that was quite a bit of fun! Especially with the Keys to the City mode that came out as DLC, basically giving you cheats so you could spawn whatever you wanted, turn up explosions etc etc.

  3. PsuedoScion

Good show – interesting personality mix. Not my type of game but I think SR4 is basically Crackdown done right. Give the player a bunch of tools and let them loose, story be damned. How about letting loose on “Payday 2”, PS3 version next week, and how matchmaking doesn’t work. First time I have ever purchased an essentially MP title only, and burned by the experience. Oh well, there is always Steam until the inevitable patch.

  4. Zombellic

I feel moved to defend the honor of Crackdown. As someone who doesn’t enjoy racing games or FPSers Crackdown was one of my favorite early 360 games.
