  1. Wow.  Tim went on a full blown angry rant there.  I’m more disappointed that stuff like Project P-100 wasn’t shown at the presser.  That game looks interesting.

  2. I think after the weak Microsoft and Sony press conferences, Nintendo had the attention of the gaming community. They had everything they needed for a good one too – a new console, a new ‘gimmick’ to sell it, new games to make use of said gimmick and a reliable existing console to shower with more games.

Instead they cough up the ball, making it all the more disappointing.

  3. Yep, Ognawk, I’m angry that Nintendo didn’t do more to sell me a Wii U and didn’t bother to tell me about any exciting 3DS news. I don’t want to see them fail and can’t understand why they don’t either know how or seem to want to succeed = \ Try the demo of Heroes of Ruin on eShop this week and tell me one reason it got zero stage time when they finished on a NintendoLand firework display!! = (

Also, just found out the Japanese behind Iwata in his boring E3 Wii U videos is the phrase that has “guided Nintendo’s design for years” means “Creating Something Unique” Shame they didn’t have room for the words “good” or “Successful”. Just because “unique” was enough for them last time does not mean that it will be enough for them this time around. Everyone thought SEGA was too big to ever be in the position they are now, I seem more worried than Nintendo that they could be starting down the same path.

So what did Mat say WTF stood for?

  5. Mat said “Whatever They Feel” which is good, but it’s no “Woot Tickle Fairy” = )
